The Element Checker is the in-game inspect panel that surfaces every public fact about an element — its stats, who discovered and currently owns it, comments, and (when you own the element) the marketplace sale preview, the sale settings, and a full mutation / colour / size editor. This page covers each piece.
The Element Checker opens with a textbox at the top: type an element's name and the panel looks it up. If you haven't searched anything yet, the panel instead shows 12 popular / trending elements that you can click on to inspect them instantly.
A status bar sits underneath the search box and reflects what's happening with your current lookup. The states it can show are:
Once an element has been successfully looked up, the panel surfaces the following fields about it:
dd/mm/yyyy, with an x days ago note.@username. If ownership was sold, it's shown as Owner: @user (Discoverer: @user).AVI is shown alongside a category describing the rating — higher number means more common (discovered more often across the playerbase). The exact breakpoints between adjacent categories aren't published; the values shown on this page are approximate mid-points.
The panel ends with Current number of comments: x, followed by an Open Comment Section button. In the comments area you can post anything from 1 to 150 characters per comment.
If you own the element, the comments section has extra controls: delete or pin any comment, and Open Comment Section Settings which lets you disable comments for this element.
Any element can be reported directly from the panel. Reports go to the moderation queue — they're the canonical way to flag TOS breaches or accidents. Repeated moderators-action against an inappropriate element can result in a permanent soft-ban.
If you own an element, a Sale Preview panel appears on the left side of the Element Checker. The same panel also appears on any element that's currently for sale, even if you don't own it — but on those, you can't open sale settings.
The preview surfaces:
· Price — in Gems, ranging from 25 to 999,999.
· Type — Copy or Ownership.
· Status — OFF-SALE or ON-SALE.
· A Buy button to purchase the element yourself.
Only the element's current owner can open sale settings. From there, you can:
· Change price — set a new Gems value (within the 25–999,999 limits).
· Change sale type — switch between Copy and Ownership.
· Take it on / off sale — toggle the OFF-SALE / ON-SALE state.
· Publish sale to marketplace — push the listing to the Marketplace.
The right side of the panel exposes the full editor. Only the element's current owner sees these buttons.
Accidentally removed the element from your saved-elements menu? Click Obtain Element to add it back without re-finding or re-crafting it.
Shows the number of unique recipes the element has been crafted from. Clicking it opens a new scrollable GUI that lists every recipe as a + b → result, alongside each recipe's discovery date and an x days ago note.
This element was probably violating the Roblox TOS, or it was an accident made by the developer.
If this removal was a mistake, the element cannot be retrieved — unless it was rediscovered by another player.
Creating inappropriate elements is a punishable offense, and it can often result in a permanent soft ban.
Removing the discovery row from your saved elements means the element is no longer in your local save, but the original world instance can still be re-acquired.
Open the Element Checker on the remaining world instance of that element. The panel exposes an Obtain Element action for the element you're inspecting. Clicking it re-adds the element into your saved-elements list.
The / emoji (literal slash) is the placeholder the game uses when an element is reset but the system hasn't picked a fresh, valid emoji for it. While an element's emoji is set to /, the element can't be saved into your saved-elements menu by the normal flow.
One carve-out: if your account already had the element saved before the emoji was changed to /, the existing saved copy is preserved.
/ and a save has been removed from your menu, you can't use Obtain Element to get it back either — Obtain Element refuses to act on slash-emoji elements. The element is fully inaccessible to that account until the emoji is changed to something else.
/ emoji) they can sell or give you an Ownership / Copy through the Marketplace. Once it lands in your saved elements, the rule no longer applies to it from your perspective.
